AS A MEMBER OF A PROFESSIONAL NETWORK CALLED HOPE*WRITERS I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE MY WORK WITH A DEEP POOL OF TALENT.
I also have the great privilege of sharing their work with you! This week I'd like to share two artilcles from other hope*writers with confidence that you will be as impacted by their work as I am.
Meet Jody Lee Cates. She is on "a quest to gather up wisdom and practical ways for us to experience more grace in our everyday lives." I found this piece of hers and realized that she has captured what I've thought about and felt so often in my life, but never taken the time to write about. I'm so grateful she did and I want you to go and read this piece about speaking truth.
Next up in our hope*writers intros is Libby John! I went gaga for her latest blog post about creativity when I saw that she's reading what I'm reading! (My good friend Jessica Biondo of Sprezza Foundry gave me a copy of The Artisan Soul, by Erwin McMannus for my birthday last month. You all MUST read it!)
I connected with Libby's work immediately. I think there's something still rumbling around in me that's centered on my very first vision for ministry from nearly a decade ago. It involved convincing people of exactly what she's talking about in her post, Courageous Creativity. I just love everything Libby has to say about this! Check it out here.
Thanks for taking time to explore the work of these two gifted women! Remember, if you're interested in becoming a hope*writer, click here to get started. The incredible folks at hope*writers have invaluable and unending advice, resources, and experience that will set you on the right path as a Christian writer. Check it out!
One last thing!
In preparation for adding exciting new product to the shop, I'm having a Mother's Day Sale through next Monday! Everything is 30% off! Please go and shop and use the coupon code HEYMAMA30 and buy me out of everything so that I can share the gorgeous new brass pieces I purchased from artisans at the Maasai market during my latest trip to Kenya.
And as always, I'd love to hear from you. Please comment below or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
